Job Information

As a marketing intern at Cloud Spectator, you will quickly learn invaluable marketing techniques to build a brand from the ground up. Due to the start-up nature of the company, not only will you be involved in decision-making aspects of pushing marketing campaigns from concept to completion, but also diving deep into the analytic process in observing and understanding the success of each of those campaigns.

We are an open-minded group of individuals, and interns contribute just as much to the conversation as any other employee, so be prepared to come with thoughts and creative ideas. You will be a large part of our success. This is not a paper-pushing, coffee-getting, Excel-crunching internship. The marketing intern will work closely with one of the co-founders of Cloud Spectator to successfully brand and even develop the business.

We have previously hired interns to become full-time employees. Cloud Spectator does not discriminate based on gender or race, and makes every effort to find the best applicant based on experience, talent, and personality.

    What You’ll be Doing:

  • Working closely with one of the co-founders of the company to learn how to successfully market and grow a start-up business
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to a real business world
  • Create presentations and messaging to target large IT businesses and cloud providers
  • Leverage social media (especially Twitter) and blogging to further brand image
  • Learn about cloud computing and how it is revolutionizing business
    Qualifications:

  • Business or Communications Major with a strong GPA
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Design skills are a plus (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Self-driven and amiable personality
  • Enthusiasm for marketing, from the creative to the analytic aspects

This position is expected to begin on September 17, 2012. We will be looking at resumes on a rolling basis, and contacting the candidates we believe are most qualified for the position. Thank you!
