Cloud Spectator is a cloud computing consulting firm based in Boston, MA. Since 2011, we have measured server performance and provided analyses into pricing and industry competition, helping enterprises make informed cloud purchase decisions. We currently focus on IaaS offerings.

Services
We offer a portfolio of services specifically to help businesses make their first step in a cloud purchasing decision. These include IaaS industry reports, pricing comparisons, server performance analyses and comparisons, and private consultation to supplement our research.
Industry Reports
Currently, Cloud Spectator offers two varieties of industry reports. Our Standard Industry Report offers updated knowledge on the business aspects of 20 different cloud providers. The other report, our Pricing Report offers a deep analysis on 20 different IaaS cloud providers’ pricing based on 4 different server sizes, ranging in a variety of minimum requirements for CPU, RAM, and Hard Disk.

Performance Analyses
Using a wide variety of open-source performance tests, we test the performance of many cloud providers’ cloud servers. From a high-level overall server performance to low-level CPU, RAM, Disk, and Internal Network tests, we run our study 4 times a day, 365 days a week. This ensures accuracy in understanding not only performance capability, but also trending and predictability in performance.
